Current Position

 

· The Government’s(Coalition) position towards concrete roads unfortunately remains unchanged. Concrete roads will only be resurfaced when they require maintenance.

To keep the issue live

To keep pressure on government

· Letters have been written to Frank Cook, and the secretary of state for transport.

· A19NAG members met Stockton Borough Council in January 2010

· A19NAG presented a petition to Frank Cook on the 19th of February 2010 to further raise the profile with government.

· A19NAG met with New Stockton North MP Alex Cunningham to raise the issue with the Department of Transport.

Alex Cunningham has written to Department of Transport on behalf of A19NAG and the residents of Wolviston Court Estate
